Thank you for your sweet comments and prayers. We are all doing better except for some runny noses and lack of energy. However, I’m starting to believe my low energy level might just be a lack of motivation. You know…I just feel in a rut of doing the same thing over and over and over again. I’m tired of cooking and tired of cleaning the high chairs five times a day, etc. I know it will pass AND I found the bright side! I lost 3 lbs last week. Hurray! Sickness is terrible but the lack of appetite that comes with it and is still hanging on is nice I must admit.
Andrew says,
“Mommy (yes..he has recently switched from calling me Mamá to mommy…which I like), there are toys all over my floor. When are you going to clean?” :(
aw, I remember when the boys switched from calling me mama to mommy–it is sweet, but made me a bit sad, b/c it meant they were growing up!
and Brooke, I don’t know what to say except for I feel your pain and it DOES get easier at some point–well, you just move on to different challenges anyway, but you won’t have to clean high chairs (plural!!) 5 times a day forever, I promise. Way to go on losing 3 lbs though–that is awesome!
“Mommy,” I look forward to the day for you when they will all be old enough to help out, and like your mom and I, all be close in age so that you don’t have to go back to these demands of your time and energy.
Glad you at least feel good about losing 3 pounds.
On another note, I find books all the time that make me think of you, Matthew, and the children. Wish I could drop by and give them to you. Found the book about Julia what’s her name and that other lady from the movie you and mom watched. I gave it to mom. My guess is she’ll save it for you.
Love you!
dad
Thinking of and praying for all five of you!! Love ya!
